Nothing is more frustrating than opening the YouTube domicile page and seeing recommended videos nigh knitting when y'all'd rather see beautiful puppies running effectually. Y'all've never looked up anything about knitting, and so why does YouTube recall you similar it? Fortunately, YouTube has come up upwards with a solution past giving you more control over your abode page and Up Next videos.

Making a few changes to your settings will put yous in charge of your YouTube experience and show y'all more personalized videos -- like stuff you actually want to see.

The new update works on Android and iPhone ($899 at Amazon) now, and is coming to your desktop presently.

Cease seeing unwanted video suggestions

Y'all have two ways of getting rid of those unwanted video suggestions -- you tin either tell YouTube not to recommend a specific channel or only say yous're non interested in watching a certain video.

Option one

Step i. From your YouTube abode page on your telephone, tap the iii dots next to the video you don't want to encounter.

Step two. Select Don't recommend channel.
